[mrtg] 2nd option for animated network traffic map

is there a way to use RRD or native MRTG logs to dynamically draw traffic maps based on user selected date criteria?? (e.g. I select router "a" and dates from Sept. 11 noon to Sept. 11 2pm and the software draws an animated picture based on the MRTG/RRD logs in the web browser).
