I'm also using RH 7.2. Interesting.
I'll compile ucd-smnp by myself and look what happens.
I don't want to use a shellscript because I have to fetch those 
informations from another server.

Why you can't find your system administrator:
The admin electroculted themselves whilst installing some cabling near 
the main power cable. Since the admin's body is the only thing keeping 
the power flowing, the management boarded up the body and pretended 
they still had a system administrator.
