Ahh.. the srv vs src thing was a typo then.  Sorry about that.  

I'll see what I can do on checking if MRTG is actually running RRDtool..

1 - How can I check to verify that MRTG can run RRDtool?
2 - I don't appear to have an \rrdtool\srv subdirectory.  A search of the
drive confirms the only copy of rrdtool.exe is in the

Should be?
1: be sure, don't asume.
2: there *is* a difference between "c:\rrdtool\src\tool_release" and
"c:\rrdtool\srv\tool_release" so if that wasn't a typo in your mail I
suggest you fix that :)
