[mrtg] Re: Run as daemon

I actually have to run couple separate images of MRTG on a Win2K server. One of the images is for a select group of external customers who wanted to see their performance data. I found it was easier to secure limited copy \inetpub\wwwroot\mrtg than a larger directory.

This is how I did it:
1. I placed a separate copy of the mrtg-2.9.17 directory on a different drive letter
2. I created a new config file that was stream-lined for the above stated specific purpose
3. I launched the separate image

It works great

Hopes this helps

Why do you want to have two instances of the same config running?

It would also help if you specified what OS your running MRTG on.

copy of mrtg seemed to be running.
