This looks like it is random bytes. Perhaps it isn't RRDtool doing
this, it could be the OS. For instance, the number 1314213699 isn't
a number at all: it is 0x4E554F43. This has to be a series of chars
that somehow replaced your RRD file. Perhaps the content of a wrong
buffer has been written into the RRD.
Upgrading would probably help here; the OS, not (only) RRDtool.
