[mrtg] Daemon does not work properly

Hey people
Using W2k and MRTG 2.9.2
When I run the mrtg on a cfg file containing (runasdaemon: yes)on a
command prompt, it just hangs saying demonizing mrtg.
I'm using NT service in the contrib folder, and I added several cfg
files in the kick.cmd , the problem is that only the device in the first
line runs where the others don't.
I also noticed that in the event viewer there and error saying 
ERROR: ReadConfig(Crontab-PathName)
Any suggestions?
