Hi list,

I tried removing the .rrd file and left the log file with the same name.
Got the following message but let me tell you that if I remove the .log
files it works just fine (Starts collecting data from the start, everything
works just fine). If you have any idea of what might be wrong please help
me. Error message:

C:\Oxylink\mrtg-2.9.18pre1\bin>perl mrtg quito.cfg
Daemonizing MRTG ...
Do Not close this window. Or MRTG will die
'-' is not recognized as an internal or external command, #This error
disappears if I remove the .log files
operable program or batch file.

'C:\Oxylink\mrtgdata\quito\V6455_tulsa.rrd': No such file or directory

# I understand that MRTG tries to open a file that is not there since I
removed it.

Thanks and regards,

if you remove the rrd file, and have a log file with the same
basename in its place, mrtg will generate an rrd file with the same
content in its place
