If you use the RFC1514-Hosts MIB (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.#), you can
specify CPU instances (# per cpu) all day long, except that MRTG WILL ONLY
GRAPH 2 AT A TIME (not shouting! just an often misunderstood aspect), and
you can only get % overall load.
If you use the PERFMIB.MIB from www.snmp4tpc.com (I'm changing the name
over), then you cannot graph more than 1 accurately due to a documented MS
bug! However, you CAN specifiy privileged and user % usage, or total if you
want.
Using a scripting solution, it IS possible to collect multi-cpu stats
remotely, and feed them into mrtg 2 at a time throught MRTGs' (oh, so
handy!) target[]: `script` helper support! This scripting can provide
privileged, user and total per cpu!
