Are you using the correct instance numbers?
For devices running IOS, Processor MemoryPoolUsed is
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5.1, I/O MemoryPoolUsed is
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5.2, Processor MemoryPoolFree is
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.6.1, I/O MemoryPoolFree is
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.6.2
Devices running CATOS have different memory pools and different instance
numbers.
Here's a section of a config for IOS-based devices. You'll have to adjust
MaxBytes, etc.

Subject: [mrtg] MemoryPoolFree
Hi,
I want to monitor memory load on several types of cisco routers. For
instance a 1603, 1721, 3550, 7204, 7505 and more.
At this time I'm using:
Cisco Local Free Mem 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8
This one works fine, for now. But is has some disadvantages. It monitors
free memory and I prefer used memory. And also it is the sum from
processor and IO memory.
With the following OIDs I can seperately monitor IO and processor memory
and free and used.
Cisco MemoryPoolUsed 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5
Cisco MemoryPoolFree 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.6
But mrtg doesn't seem to collect any data with these OIDs.
Can antone help me with this problem?
Thanks,
Sander
