Hi everyone, first of all Merry Christmas to everyone. This is my first
posting in this list. Hopefully I'll cooperate as much as I can; Now to the
Point.

I have been using MRTG with Routers.cgi. I also use Blat189 to detect
Threshold and send email. I have no problems detecting under or over
thresholds. Now my question is, how can I set it up to email when there is
no response from an Interface. Can blat to be used with some sort of ping
target (e.g. smoke-ping.pl).

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated

Luis ALegria

Subject: [mrtg] MRTG Stats from a Cisco PIX 515

Hello,

I am a new user of the MRTG.

I am trying to capture informations from my Cisco PIX 515 with IOS Version
6.2(2) (all my interfaces are at 100Mbps) with the MRTG ver 2.9.26b.

The result on the graph do not make sense, the vertical scale shows in TB,
also the graph lines are not visible and the entire graph is all green.

The CFG file created by the CFGMAKER seems to be fine, since we can see all
the related informations of the PIX.

Notice that we installed the MRTG program with the default setting. Is there
any special setting or MIB file we should use ?

The only thing we need out of the graph, is the inbound and outbound
statistics.

Thanks in advance, Hope you can help me
