[mrtg] Mrtg 2.9.25 --print on closed filehandle

 Has anyone got an idea what causes the following error?  I've been 
running MRTG for a year or two and didn't have a problem until I 
upgraded to 2.9.25.  I now get the following error in the log file when 
I run mrtg.  It only seems to happen when I don't run mrtg as root.  


print on closed filehandle main::META at /opt2/bin/mrtg line 218.
