[mrtg] Treshhols Alerts

Hi everyone, 

I have been using MRTG with Routers.cgi. I also use Blat189 to send email
alerts when a threshold occurs. I haven't had any problems detecting under
or over thresholds. Is there a away to set thresholds to Cero or some how
make BLAT to send an email when there is not response from the interface. 

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated
