[mrtg] External monitor script across servers?

I am hoping to use an external monitor (perl) on a sun box (solaris)
but mrtg is running on W*ndows for reasons beyond my control.

So how can I invoke a comand on sun-box from the Win box,
via the 'External Monitor' option?
something like: 'remote-sunbox:/usr/bin/myreport '/users
?
(I'd rather use my script than SNMP for various reasons...)
