I almost forgot...

I understand why you would want to do calculations on business hours
only however you are effectively lying on the averages.

Normally the averages will represent (bytes/time).  If you take this
average and multiply by an amount of time, you should end up with
an amount of bytes that is fairly accurate.

Now, for your "business hours only" averages:

Suppose you have an access line that does 256kbps.  Also suppose it
will be utilized 100% during the 8 to 5 hours and 0% during the other
hours.

With the modified averages, you will get an average utilization of
100%  When multiplied with 28*86400 (28 days) this would mean you'd
transfered 619,315,200,000 bits.  In reality you "only" transfered
165,888,000,000 (20*9*3600*256000) bits.

So: make sure you really do your calculations on business hours...
