[mrtg] Cisco 6509

Is there anyway that I can get information out of a Cisco Catalyst 6509, I
have tried snmpwalk and get no response even though I have made sure that
the pubic access account is correct. this also means that I cannot use
cfgmaker

any help with this is appreciated
