Most important - use RRDTool.

Almost as important - Use MR Daemon.  

Finally, don't use NT (just kidding!)

Any hints/pointers for speeding up MRTG under NT?? I have tried the command:
start /high runmrtg.bat
to force a higher priority, but the affects are neglible.
