If you use MRTG as the data collector and use it for
input to the database, you don't have much choice.
2 targets per graph. That's not to say you can't
modify them to suit your needs. I'm running the
RRDTool/MRTG/14all combo with 3 data sources. It's
ugly and I've been trying to get away from it by using
some of the other front end/data collectors like
Cricket, Broc, etc. And no, I won't give out the
modified source because I don't like they way it's
done. Way too messy. I learned a whole lot about
how RRAs work by doing that, but I wish I had
approached the problem an entirely different way.

So yeah, you're on your own.

Hey all-

I am relatively new to MRTG, having been using Cricket/RRDTool for a
while, but I have recently switched to MRTG/RRDTool because I prefer the
configuration and display.

The one thing I have been unable to discover is if there is a way to
display more than 2 targets on a single graph. For instance, I am
trying to graph CPU user, system and idle on a single graph (btw, I am
using 14all as the front end).

Has anyone extended 14all/MRTG/RRDTool to be able to display more than
2 targets on a single graph?

I have been searching the archives and find lots of questions on this
subject, but not many answers aside from "you are on your own..." :-)
