[mrtg] RedHat 7.2 & MRTG

I an using RH 7.2 and the mrtg 2.9.17-3.i36.rpm and 
ucd-snmp-4.2.5-7.72.0.i386.rpm packages.


I an using an existing mrtg config file from a 6.2 server that worked great.

Every time I type the following :   /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg   I 
get a timeout error on the device.  More to the fact:

SNMP Error:
no response received
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" [207.206.159.1].161)
                   community: "whatever"

                     timeout: 2s

SNMPGET Problem for ifInOctets.1 ifOutOctets.1 sysUptime sysName on 
whatever at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

WARNING: Expected a number but got ''


I just setup this new box for this and am now having these problems.

Any Ideas???
