Hello everyone,
I am trying to get the temperature plots using MRTG on a windows 98 machine
and am having problems. I have installed ActivePerl 5.6.1.631 for use.
Actually i a student working on a project( electrical engineering), not a
software programmer, so i am having problems getting this working.
A friend of mine was nice enough to write me a perl script to extract data
from my data file and convert it to MRTG log file format. But the script
somehow doesnt work :( . I am attaching my output data file(Output_F1.txt),
the perl script(temp.pl) and my mrtg.cfg file. Can someone pls tell me where
i am wrong and how do i rectify it? I cant seem to find out the mistake.
When i run the 'perl mrtg mrtg.cfg' command from the dos prompt, then it
gives me the following error:

C:\mrtg\bin>perl mrtg mrtg.cfg
Daemonizing MRTG ...
Do Not close this window. Or MRTG will die
Bad command or file name
WARNING: Problem with External get 'perl c:/mrtgdata/temp.pl':
Expected a Number for 'in' but got ''

WARNING: Problem with Externale get 'perl c:/mrtgdata/temp.pl':
Expected a Number for 'out' but got ''

Someone pls help me!!!!!
Thanks in advance
