[mrtg] Can perl RunAsDaemon?

Quick question (yes, one more......)
Can I make my perl scripts run all the time (RunAsDaemon) just like you do
in a mrtg.cfg file?
A script that creates a webpage needs to update the data displayed in that
page.  How to do that?
