Greetings list,

I hope someone can help me as I've been at this all day!

I have a Cisco 678 DSL router that I'm trying to get MRTG going for it.
Here's what I have for my config:

Target[aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz_1]: 1:mrtg at aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz:
SetEnv[aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz_1]: MRTG_INT_IP="aaa.aaa.xxx.xxx"
MRTG_INT_DESCR="Wan0-0"
MaxBytes1[aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz_1]: 120000
MaxBytes2[aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz_1]: 98304
SingleRequest: Yes
Title[aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz_1]: Traffic Analysis for 1 -- CBOS675
PageTop[aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz_1]: <H1>Traffic Analysis for 1 -- CBOS675</H1>
   <TR><TD>System:</TD> <TD>Cisco 678</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Maintainer:</TD> <TD>CSSI, Inc.</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>DSL Router </TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ADSL</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>eth1</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>1Mbps/768Kbps</TD></TR>

Now, SNMP is working, I get the uptime:

The statistics were last updated Wednesday, 17 July 2002 at 14:40,
at which time 'CBOS675' had been up for 3:37:19.

But it will not show me the bandwidth, it's says everything is zero.
I suspect it is due to the interface configuration on the router?

mycisco#sh int
           IP Address Mask
eth0 aaa.aaa.zzz.zzz 255.255.255.248
vip0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0
vip1 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0
vip2 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0
wan0 Physical Port: Trained

           Dest IP Address Mask
wan0-0 aaa.aaa.xxx.xxx 255.255.255.255
           Static IP Address Mask
wan0-0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255

I've tried using the IP for eth0 and for wan0-0 with the same results.
Accurate uptime reports, but no bandwidth report. Adding the
SingleRequest option had no effect either.

There is another problem I'm having but it seems to be far less
important:

The line is 1Mbps D/L and 768 U/L. What would the accurate MaxBytes be?
I'm sure I'm way off in the conf file, but first things first, I need
some bandwidth displayed.

I'm not a total newbie at MRTG, I've used it a lot for Frame Relay and
SMDS links and currently running it now at this location for the primary
Frame connection. But those links always seem to work fine for me with
minimal tweaking needed. The DSL line is for backup and load balancing
only, but I want to be able to graph it.

TIA,
Derek
