[mrtg] Win2k and Availability, Misc-Pingprobe

Hi,
my  mrtg(2.9.18pre12) runs on a Win2k machine. i already monitor different
values of some routers.
now i'd like to monitor the availability of them with e.g.
mrtg-misc-pingprobe.
But i really don't know how to integrate and configurate an external
Perl-Script in my *.cfg file.
Can anybody help how to do that?
Any help will be appreciated!!
