How about 10Mbps over Cat3 UTP or 100Mbps over Cat5 UTP?

It's been so long since I worked with Cat3 I'm not sure, but I think
it's good for 10Mbps. I do recall having problems with long runs (~100
metres) of Cat 3 when using 16Mbps tokenring. It seemed to be marginal.
