Does this work properly if you have dual supervisor cards? Will it pickup
the second one when it becomes primary?

 John,
the way MRTG works is that it requires 2 variables..it will always graph
two variables. For CPU load, you only need to graph one variable. So in
order to do that in MRTG you just tell MRTG to graph the same variable.

that you loaded the same OID twice in a row, is that intentional?
Would these be the OID numbers needed to monitor CPU utilization on, let's
say a 2600 or 7200 router?

Here's the configuration I used to get mine to build the mrtg.cfg file
(works great).

# /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/cfgmaker --global 'IconDir: /mrtgicons/'
--global 'WorkDir: /home/www/htdocs/sog/mrtg/cisco/6509'
--global 'options[_]: bits' --ifref=ip --ifdesc=descr --show-op-down
--descint public at 10.200.52.1

IconDir: /mrtgicons/
WorkDir: /home/www/htdocs/sog/mrtg/cisco/6509
options[_]: bits

I had to 'hand-build' this config file to monitor cpu...

IconDir: /mrtgicons/
WorkDir: /home/www/htdocs/sog/mrtg/cisco/6509cpu
