Can you type something at the command prompt to see 
that info?  Is there a log file that indicates how 
many connections have been made to the box?

If the answer to either of these questions is yes, 
than the answer is yes.  If not, no.

Otherwise, try using ntop or flowscan to gauge 
this traffic, as long as they use the standard tcp 
port.  They both use RRDTool for backend data storage.
