Hi everybody how tries to help me. thx for your quick response!
i try to monitor the traffic of my port-channel2 (IF=225, consists of two
bundled 1GB Interfaces IF268,269=2 GB).
Monitoring of the two 1GB IF works well, only the traffic for the
port-channel2 doesn't work.
I don't get any errors running mrtg from the command line.
There are created 3 log-files for each of the three IF.
MaxByte are set to two GBit=250000000 for the port-channel2
On the Cisco Catalyst 6509 the bandwidth is set to 2000000 KBit/s for the
port-channel2 and 1000000 KBit/s for each of the two GB-IF.
AbsMax is not set because it's impossible to get more than 2GBit's traffic
for the port-channel2.
here is my cfg-file in short-form:

A few questions need to be answered before we can start to find the
fault/error.

What are you monitoring (ie traffic, errors, etc)?

Do you get any errors when running MRTG from the command line?

Are you monitoring every port on the switch?

If your polling every port on the switch has a log file being created for
every target in your config?

Any chance of seeing your config?

Subject: [mrtg] LOG-File doesn't grow

Hi,
in my logfile from my Cisco 6509 Switch i only have the two initial values
in the first line. mrtg works fine every 5 minutes but the other lines in
the logfile stay with four "0".
does anybody have an idea, what's going wrong here?
thx in advance.
warm regards
