"Billing purposes".  It might be a good idea to know what data is used
for billing.

Two common used items are the 95th percentile and the total amount
of data moved.  You should be able to find a script for both.

The total amount of data can also be calculated by multiplying the
average throughput by the amount of time lapsed.
