On any *nix box that has snmp loaded you should be able to do an "snmpwalk
hostname communitystring"

Hostname or IP address will work

I use a Windows host for MRTG and the GUI GetIf to do my SNMP walking, so I
don't know the correct syntax to SNMPWALK on your box.
I'm sure someone on the list will be able to help you.

Make sure UDP161 is allowed in both directions through the firewall.

Thanks

David:

Yes, I double-checked the community name and case and
it's correct.

Yes, there is a firewall between the server and the router.
It actually takes 13 hops via traceroute to get to the destination,
though it does get there and in a resonable amount of time.

I'll have our network admin check the UDP161 issue. Can
I bother you to give me additional details on "SNMP walking"?

Thanks!
