Erich,
Cisco routers are known for changing the interfacenumbers when rebooting
after a change in the configuration.
You can circumvent this by using '--ifref=name' or '--ifref=descr' in
the configmaker command.

Jan.

Subject: [mrtg] Cisco 3661 with ChE1 moves data around
Hi,
We are doing nice graphs of all the ports on a Cisco 3661 Router
(Modules: 1 x Dual Ch E1 1 x 16 port Switchmodule) but every so often -
(router rebooted last Saturday) the data for each client moves up (or
down one slot)???
How can one stop this?
Regards - Erich
Extra Info:
controller E1 1/0
channel-group 1 timeslots 1-8
channel-group 21 timeslots 21-24
Now I add 25 and all my nice graphs
move up one! channel-group 26 timeslots 26 channel-group 27 timeslots
27 channel-group 28 timeslots 28 channel-group 29 timeslots 29
channel-group 30 timeslots 30 description ChE1 71-09837-00 ! controller
E1 1/1 channel-group 1 timeslots 1-8 channel-group 21 timeslots 21-24
channel-group 26 timeslots 26 channel-group 27 timeslots 27
channel-group 28 timeslots 28 channel-group 29 timeslots 29
channel-group 30 timeslots 30 description ChE1 71-03036-00 !
Tried to edit the mrtg log files but that also caused havoc!
