If you edit the global /etc/profile, you might as well fix it
in /etc/sysconfig/i18n instead, which is probably the "correct"
"RedHat" thing to do.
(For me, I tend to comment out the "LANG" line. For Red Hat 7.x
at least, not commenting it out seems to break some locale-related
stuff.)
If not, modify the script that starts up MRTG to unset all
locale-related variables (LANG as well as any variable beginning
with LC_).
