Yeah, I had to hack it a little to get the 4006's to work....
Around line 88 is a line that reads something like
(if ($sysdesc =~ /2900|3500/) {
...

Add any other IOS based catalysts to that line, for example:
(if $sysdesc =~ /2900|2950|3500|3550|4000 L3/) {
...

Subject: [mrtg] cammer and Cisco 4006 switches

The MRTG contrib script, cammer.pl does not seem to work with the
Cisco 4006 sup III blade. It errors out every time. Google searches
indicate that others have had the same experience. A manual snmpwalk
using ipNetToMediaPhysAddress (.1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22.1.2 ) works fine.
I am using the cammer/mysql script that Dan McDonald wrote and it
works great. Has anyone found a work around for the 4006?

Thanks
