[mrtg] Off topic - Asset management

Hi all

This isn't MRTG related but a lot of you must be involved with asset management etc!

What tools do you use for keeping track of you kit, circuit numbers, serial numbers, memory etc?

We're currently using Excel but need something with a better search facility, I see Visio can do this type of thing, any comments?
