Work around:
Do not use cfgmaker.  You do not *need* it to produce a working config file,
it is just very handy.  Interface instances can be queried from the switch
command line ("show interface detail" or something alike, search the archives)

The solution is probably to up- or downgrade the switch software but I don't
know for sure.  Maybe Cisco knows, visit the TAC.
