[mrtg] BGP session Monitor

Hi,

I was wondering if someone was able to use MRTG to monitor some BGP 
Stats from a cisco router. I want to monitor the state of a Bgp session
And also the nbr of prefixes recived from a peer. 
I found some info on the BGP stae but not sure how and where to get nbr 
Of prefixes...
