[mrtg] Re: Mib Browsers with good descriptions

I do need to see the CPU on my 3662 router, when I do a "sh proc cpu
history" on the last 72 hour graph it shows some pretty major spikes. I
need to see if there is more of a pattern.

I will check the log file to see what else I may need.

Thanks

As mentioned before in this list: there is not much use in querying the cpu
figures for Cisco switches because the cpu is not involved in the handling
of the traffic.

By getting the right MIB file(s).

Sometimes you need more than one MIB file because of the fact that the mib
file that contains the oid you want to see in text is not directly hooked to
the main oid structure. If you use an text editor to view the MIB file you
will see an "Import.." line followed by: "From.. xxx". In this case xxx is
the name of the "parent" MIB file you have to find. (If you use getif, it
will show in its logfile a warning like: "Module xxx not found")
