Eric & John....
YEs its a good idea in theory but.... (don't you hate those?)
I have 150 cfg files of which some have 300 interfaces....
I have had a look at the cfgmaker pl script and it DOES identify the
interface type withing cfgmaker, but there is no option to tell it "ONLY"
add frame-relay interfaces to the cfg file

Wouldn't it be easier to just remove the lines in the config that you don't
want to monitor? Besides, I don't know how you can ask ConfigMaker to check
to see if an interface is frame relay. I guess you could poll an SNMP OID
for description and then look for "Frame" or something... but that would
mean that the descriptions would have to have "Frame" in them. Still... a
lot easier to just clean up the config file after its been made, I think.

Subject: [mrtg] cfgmaker & frame-relay interfaces only
Hello,
Id it possible to get cfgmaker to generate a cfg file for a router
but ONLY grab the frame relay interfaces ???
there are no options that I can see for this, and my perl isnt sufficient
to modify the cfgmaker code
