That depends on your hardware (in my experience).
If you have Dell hardware, Dell has the Dell Management Software that works
with different OS's, that will implement all the Dell OID's that graph lots
of stuff from the hardware.

As part of operation overkill I am trying to find ways and means, through
snmp or otherwise to graph variables like CPU temperature, fan revs, etc.
OS: linux kernel 2.4
Is there any standard between motherboards, or does every vender implement
his own stuff?
I am totally lost and don't even know where to start looking.
