This isn't really helpful for me.  "getexternal('mailq') or whatever" is
going to be the same in any other MRTG 2.10.11  There's nothing special
about mine.  I don't have anything special... I literally just installed
MRTG from the tarball and that's it.

Again, the problem...

[joliver at ns joliver]$ sudo /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg
/usr/local/etc/mailstats.conf
Can't exec "/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mailstats": No such file or directory
at /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg line 1666.
WARNING: Running '/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mailstats': No such file or
directory
WARNING: Could not get any data from external command
'/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mailstats'
Maybe the external command did not even start. (No such file or
directory)

/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mailstats absolutely does exist:

[joliver at ns joliver]$ ls -l /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mailstats
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root         2589 Dec  7 20:21
/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mailstats


How can I fix this?
