[mrtg] problem w/ installation

I've just finished the installation of mrtg version 2.9.25.  All I got
when I ran the program was the heading MRTG Index PAGE and what appeared
to be a footer only.  
Looking through the FAQ, I did not find anything relating to this.  Any
pointers are appreciated.
