I'd tend to be a little worried about the above lines. When MRTG queried your 
router, MRTG had no idea what got returned. Can you post the output of your 
mrtg.cfg (important bits stripped out or whatever you don't want the list to 
see) so we can get a further idea how to go about rectifying your problem.

(P.S Sorry I cannot help with the gd issue on Solaris, I have not used Solaris 
for many years so my knowledge is severely restriced)
