[mrtg] Re: MRTG errors...

Hi Brett,
Below is the config file for mrtg.cfg and hope you or someone can help
me to fix the problems.
When running cfgmaker with the following options, the output looks to be
OK since I don't see any errors. But when I execute "mrtg" w/ mrtg.cfg
option I got some errors. The one error in particular it complain about
is: gd-png: fatal libpng error: Application must be recompiled; version
1.0.6 was i
ncompatible I assume gd-png is libpng library so I went ahead and download
and reinstall the new version libpng-1.2.4-sol8-sparc-local but still get
the same errors. I even have tried to run "configure" and do "make" again
but
make no difference. Did I do something wrong here?
Any helps I can get to make this working!!!

I'd tend to be a little worried about the above lines. When MRTG queried
your
router, MRTG had no idea what got returned. Can you post the output of your
mrtg.cfg (important bits stripped out or whatever you don't want the list to
see) so we can get a further idea how to go about rectifying your problem.
(P.S Sorry I cannot help with the gd issue on Solaris, I have not used
Solaris
for many years so my knowledge is severely restriced)
