As far as I know, there should be no colon (:) at the end of the IP address. I
would edit your mrtg.cfg with your favorite text editor (vim, nvi, etc) and
remove the colon from the end of all "Target" entries.
Something you will also need to check is have you enabled "snmp-server" on
your Cisco router? If not, then there's another reason why it will fail.
Before starting MRTG again, I'd recommend using something like "snmpwalk"
(part of the NET-SNMP project) to perform an SNMP query on your router,
because if snmpwalk cannot query your router then MRTG won't be able to either.
