Thresholds are made to only notify once, to prevent you getting spammed with
failures every 5 minutes. You'll get a notification when the threshold is
breeched and when it returns to normal.

Subject: [mrtg] Threshold checking

Hello,

Does somebody got Thresholds with mrtg/rrdtool working ?
I've configured it in the config, but it doesn't work .
According to the log file it is only running once..
Tue Jan 7 13:33:37 2003 mysql2.scrip (0) is below threshold (1)
And after that nothing at all .
