[mrtg] modem pool monitoring problems

Hi,
I'd like to use MRTG (2.9.25) under Win2000Prof to monitor small modem
pool activity on the router. Here's the mrtg.cfg :

Target[modem.1]: ifOperHack.3&ifOperHack.3:public at 10.0.0.1 + 
ifOperHack.4&ifOperHack.4:public at 10.0.0.1 + 
ifOperHack.5&ifOperHack.5:public at 10.0.0.1 + 
ifOperHack.6&ifOperHack.6:public at 10.0.0.1

Options[modem.1]: growright,gauge,noinfo,nopercent
MaxBytes[modem.1]: 4
Title[modem.1]: Modems in Use
ShortLegend[modem.1]: modems
#YLegend[modem.1]: Modems Active
LegendI[modem.1]:  
LegendO[modem.1]:
Legend1[modem.1]: Modems Active
PageTop[modem.1]: <H1> Modems in Use </H1>

First, if YLegend option is active, there is a bunch of errors like:

ERROR: Skipping webupdates because rateup did not return anything sensible.
WARNING: rateup died from Signal 0
with Exit Value 1 when doing router 'modem.1'
Signal was 0, Returncode was 1.

Second, I can see only current activity (for example, there is a line on the 
graph and a message like "Current: 1 modem in use", but after next 5 min 
update this line is disappeared and we see a clear graph again).
