I moved polling of 2 devices from Win2k to Linux. Once I got Linux set up
and MRTG working, I just copied over the .log files. I kept both boxes
running until I was satisfied that what I had done was working before I shut
down the polling on the win2k box.

Of course, that's when I realized that my time zone was screwed up on the
Linux machine because it gave me "time warp, again" errors. :-)

Subject: [mrtg] Re-locating MRTG

Would anybody have any words of wisdom about relocating MRTG? I am running
MRTG without rrdtool on Windows 2000. I am setting up MRTG initially
without RRDtool on Linux, and have it working, (thanks to those on the list
who helped with that). Any idea's on how to move the historical data? Or
is it as simple at moving the log files into the proper location?

Thanks,

RPW
