Hi!

I'm using Windows 2000 Server SP3, using mrtg-2.9.27 and active perl 5.8

The snmp walk returned me:

C:\Roger>snmputil walk 10.6.2.2 comm .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.4.1
End of MIB subtree.

An SNMP Get retiurned me:

C:\Roger>snmputil get 110.6.2.2 comm .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.4.1
Variable = .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.4.1
Value    = Gauge32 0

Thank's

Roger

What OS are you using? Can you do an snmpwalk on the switch? If you are using Linux, what versions of mrtg and net-snmp are you using?

Post the first few lines of the log file. The OID works on my 3500 so it should be
ok.

Do you get anything returned with an snmpget?
