I suggest you read the archives.  This is discussed at length at least
once a month. I went through it all with someone last week, in fact.  I
think they chose the CAR solution as opposed to the Netflow solution.

If your "DMZ" interface is on a firewall running linux, you'll have to
dig a little further back - it's been a while since anyone asked about
writing iptables rules and generating stats from them.
