as someone else mentioned, check the archives

but you give no information on how you want to monitor.. 2 options
I use:

http://howto.aphroland.de/HOWTO/MRTG/ApacheWithMRTG
(queries apache directly)

http://howto.aphroland.de/HOWTO/MRTG/IPFWCountersWithMRTG
(uses ipfw accounting rules to calculate traffic)
