[mrtg] Problem in polling POS interface of Cisco 7600 Series

Hi,
      I have tried polling POS interface of 7600 Series Router through various tools like 
mrtg, Cricket, and other NMS tools, but the graph showing the input and output traffic
doesnt match with the traffic flowing on the interface at certain intervals of the day.
        The graph shows very less traffic for a period of 2 hrs and odd and then shows 
correct traffic. The wrong polling is happening exactly on the same instances daily.

Is this something to do with Router? 
Has anyone faced such problems earlier?
Is there something i missing out in Mrtg config

I am just wondering how it is happening at the same instances daily.
