Subject: [mrtg] ActivePerl / RRDTool problem
Hi all,
I am having a possible(?) compatibilty problem with Active Perl & RRDTool.
I am trying to get RRDTool running on a Win98 box that have successfully
run MRTG 2.9.29 with ActivePerl 5.6.1 build 635 for some time. I know
most people will say that Win98 is my problem, but I'll live with that!!!
:-)
The follwing is the output when using ActivePerl 5.6.1 build 635 & RRDTool
1.0.40.x86distr and trying to install rrds.ppd
C:\RRDTool\perl-shared>ppm install rrds.ppd
Installing package 'rrds.ppd'...
Error installing package 'rrds.ppd': Read a PPD for 'rrds.ppd', but it is
not intended for this build of Perl (MSWin32-x86-multi-thread)
C:\RRDTool\perl-shared>
Can anyone shed some light on what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance
Andrew
